Hi everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful week. Just wanted to pop on real quickly and let you know about my Instagram. I have been doing allot of illustrations and art and kept very busy with that over the past few months. And I WILL be coming back with stamps over at Unity Stamp Co. and A Jillian Vance Designs, I cant wait to show you what I have been working on. HI FRIENDS! BACK FROM MY HIATUS!

Hi friends, oh how I have missed everyone and my blog so much. Its been a rough few months for me and my family that I hope you can forgive my absence for so long. If you are my friend or follow me on facebook then you will know whats happened. If not, heres just a little update. The hardest was last Mothers Day when my Mom was rushed to the hospital. She hadnt told anyone but apparently she had bronchitis and because she had no insurance (her work didnt offer) she let it go and it turned into full blown pneumonia. Very very bad pneumonia. I wont go into all the details because its still so fresh and new and it will be coming up on one year soon but she was in the hospital for a very long long time and did not recover. She passed away over a month later in the hospital. There was nothing that could be done. My family and I were devastated, she is so young and was always pretty healthy as far as anyone knew or that she would let on. Its been rough, I miss her but more so my daughter and my nephew miss their grandma so much. She was always much better at being a Grandma than Mom. And I was happy about that because she was starting to change and come around for the better. It was harder having to say goodbye and not being able to talk to her was worse because she was intubated the whole time. I miss her everyday, its still fresh.  So after that happened, life has happened to. But I will have some very exciting news coming very soon and I cant wait to share some new creations and fun crafty news with you. I still cant believe we lost Papercrafts Magazine and Two Peas in a Bucket. I really miss all the fun with both of them. Glad all the wonderful people are still around but I miss all the fun groups and the fun of trying out for publication. I am excited for my dear friend Vanessa opening her new shop, Butterfly Reflections Ink. If you havent already, check out her new online shop for crafty goodies its awesome and so is she! So proud of you girly!!  I have lots more to share but I just wanted to pop in a lil note and say HI and let you know im back. I also just moved my Daddy in and my studio got kicked out into another room but I am enjoying having more space to do stuff with the kids and maybe I hope to teach or have some friends over soon. I also hope to have a new look to my blog soon with more of my sweet owls. :) Have a great weekend everyone!! Hope you are all doing well. Lots of love, Jenny S. Baby It's Cold Outside!

Hi everyone!! It sure is cold outside. It's finally winter in California. It's been warm all year till just recently.

I also would like to send my prayers out to Connecticut and the families affected by the horrible tragedy that occurred Friday. Our hearts are very heavy. While we should be celebrating the joys of this time of year, we are praying and coming together for those little lives lost and those Heros that saved lives. My daughter has really taken the news hard and has been a bit closer with me and sleeping with us. HUGS your little ones a little tighter right now.

We plan to get together with my side of the family for a Thanksgiving feast and then DH's side of the family for a relaxing Christmas holiday! We'll probably be baking up a storm!

Fall to Pieces!

HI EVERYONE!!
Im back! :) Are you excited? LOL! Hope everyone's doing great! It's been a crazy summer and fall has started off crazy too. My Dad was in the hospital and had a minor stroke, hes doing much better now but taking it day to day. If you pray ... please send some prayers for my Dad. Thank you.

Hi everyone!!


Its that time again. Back to school and back to it. I am really glad summer is over. I love the extra time with my kiddo but its nice to be back to a schedule. Sorry I have been quiet, I have had allot of doctor appointments lately for my back. Trying to find help for my back but so far I haven't had much luck. But I am not giving up yet.

My girl started 6th grade this year, so proud of her. She was so nervous that morning. It was so cute.

Just wanted to give a little update and let you know im here. :) My blog will be busy, busy now that break is over and I am doing more working at home. And I have some BIG news coming soon to share with you. Also some new sponsors will be jumping on board so I can do some sweet givaways soon.
I hope you all enjoyed your summer!!! I wish I could have enjoyed it a little more but with my back issues I had to stay behind most of the time. But I still had fun. We took a few trips to Santa Cruz, San Jose, San Fran, the beach and more. It was great to get away. 
I would love to know how your summer was!? Leave me a note, I love to hear from you all. I am so ready to get back on track and excited for whats to come and I cant wait to share it with you all.

I am a DIRTY GIRL!!!!I was invited to be on the Dirty Dozen for Split Coast Stampers!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!
Im beyond excited and when Lydia asked me to be a dirty girl I was jumping up and down at the chance to join this very talented group of ladies who I call my friends!! :) :)

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great start to your week.
Today I am sharing a card with you for this months Glue Dots inspirational projects. This months focus is on July 4th Holiday and Baby Showers. I picked Independence Day project.

This would be a GREAT card to make a set to send to OPERATION WRITE HOME. I think I am going to make more and send some to them. There are a few more great sentiments in this stamp set.

Here are the instructions for making this card if you would like to recreate it:

Instructions:

1. Make 4.25" x 5.5" card from cardstock

2. Adhere twine with strips from Glue Dots Glue Lines.

3. Stamp stars and pennants with blue and red stamp ink. Cut out and Adhere with Glue Dots Pop Up dots.

4. Stamp sentiment with red stamp ink.

Project Life update and news!

Hi everyone! Hope your week is going great!

Did you happen to catch Craft Wars Tuesday? It was so great. My friend Christy was on the show, I just love what she did. I wont spoil it for anyone but if you haven't caught the show, you shouldn't miss it! Its on TLC. I would LOVE to try out for the show but I am TERRIBLE under pressure. I would crack LOL!

I am counting down the days until I can spill the beans on one of my secrets! Only a few more days to go until I can shout it from the roof!! I am SO excited!!

First I am sharing Week 19, 20 & 21:

Left Side:

For this week, my theme is Echo Park papers!

We had a wonderful dinner at an Italian restaurant. We had lots of fun and giggles. And I showed her this week how to flat iron her hair and how to do some other things with her hair.

This week was also my daughters first Choir concert. She was so great! She loves to sing, its one of her passions. Sorry some of it is blurred, I had to blur out the names of her school and classmates.

I'm a proud mommy!! Shes so fabulous!

Week 20-21 Left Side:

The theme for these weeks is Dear Lizzy.

This week was fun and hard. Mothers Day weekend I got a wonderful breakfast from my hubby and my DD gave me a sweet handmade gift and hubby gave me flowers too. We had the solar eclipse this week. I watched my nephew on the weekend. And I sadly had to take my daughter to the hospital. Her asthma was giving her trouble. But she is ok now.

We also had some fun this week. I got to spend allot of time with my nephew. We had a blast hanging out together. And hubby put up some pretty climbing flowers in the planters. I got lots of happy mail which I LOVE!

Just a great month. Better than Feb-Mar-Apr which was pretty hard for me. I am so glad to finally have some happiness in my life. Its nice for a change.

Santa Cruz Mini Album

Hi everyone!! :) Hope your week is off to a great start!It is SO nice to be feeling good again and getting my MOJO back. Hes been lost for a long time while I went through some hard times. But its made a good return and I have been busy busy creating with Project Life, a Mini Album and designing some new stamps that you will be seeing in the next month or two. I have some BIG announcements coming in July and August and I can't wait to share with you. It's eating me up holding them secret. lol
Today I am sharing a Mini Album I did of our trip to Santa Cruz, CA area. We had so much fun on our trip. We visited Santa Cruz, San Jose and San Francisco. 
All the supplies I used will be listed

I used the album from October Afternoon 9 to 5 collection. I love this album. 

Travel Record. We are heading to Santa Cruz RV Resort in Felton, CA.

Our Pomeranian Prince was having fun driving us to the yard to pick up our trailer. LOL! He was so sleepy he passed out! (We were parked for this picture)

The second day on our vacation we drove to San Jose to visit the Winchester House. While my daughter and hubby toured the house I went to a local Scrapbook store. It was a great day!

For dinner on this day we went to Buca di Beppo! YUM! Was so good!

Third day we hung out at camp all day to check out the campgrounds. I went for a walk around the camp while hubs and kid went to get her a scooter since we forgot our bikes (oops!)

Fourth day was the BEST day! We took a trip to San Fran!! It was so much fun!! We drove over the Golden Gate and then we drove around and checked out the town. We had lunch at The Original Buffalo Wings ... omgosh it was SO SO good!! We drove down Lombard St. and it was so neat! Then we headed to Pier 39 to check out the shops and sights. The pups got the most attention at the pier! We stopped and picked up Joes Crab Shack for dinner then went to the park and ate. While we were stopped me and my girl spotted some super cute Owl hats and we HAD to have them!

LOL! Such a blast!

Fifth day I stayed at camp to rest my back from all the fun in San Fran. I was so sore. So hubs and kiddo went to the Roaring Camp and road the train. So fun!

Then they went down to Santa Cruz and played at the Santa Cruz boardwalk. They had a BLAST! I wish I could have gone too. The kiddo got a bracelet and rode a TON of rides over and over. She had so much fun! Then they went mini golfing. And for dinner they brought me fish and chips and clam chowder from the boardwalk. It was so amazing!

The next day we headed back to Santa Cruz to do some antiquing and shopping. I found an AMAZING art store called Palace Art Supplies. It was HUGE and had so much great stuff. I got some great goodies there. Then we drove down to see the lighthouse and the ocean. We had dinner at a little greek restaurant, it was amazing.

Almost everyday my hubs made us pancakes, he makes the best! They were so good! We watched some movies together and relaxed. Enjoyed some smores over the campfire YUM!

It was just a great, great vacation!! We had so much fun! So sad that its over but we were all also homesick. Kinda glad to come home! :)

Next, when I get time, I want to do a mini with this daybook. I just love Amy's stuff.
