Yes I have a problem...

I have so many stamps that I haven't touched with ink yet. My poor neglected stamps. I made myself a promise to ink some of them up and im sharing them with you now that they feel loved. lol :)

Before I share my cards, I have a question for all of you. When I put my 'card recipe' under the picture, is that helpful at all? It takes allot of time to link up everything and I want to make sure its helpful or if no one really pays attention to it. Do you like the card recipe?

As you have seen from my blog, I am a Hero Arts Hostess. You know how much I love Hero Arts. Just as much as Savannah loves Unity LOL. This month Hero Arts contest theme is Food & Travel. So that is the theme for this card...

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Hero Arts Travel Journal, Getaway Travel
Paper: The Girls Paperie, PTI white, kraft, lemon tart
Ink: Memento

Here I used another stamp set I have never ink'd up before. I love playing with my stamps. This hobbie to me is like being a kid, I can get all inky, make a big mess, color, cut out and have fun. LOL.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Hero Arts Stencil Art, Friends
Paper: PTI white, kraft
Ink: Memento
Other: Pearls

For those that missed it, Im having a Design Team call. Check out the details HERE.

And I have drawn a winner for the blog candy...

I love both of these cards Jenny! Haha I have those exact stamps sets as well and think its safe to say I haven't ever inked up the stencil one either! How bad is that! But now I want to get it out and stamp with it! Thanks for the inspiration :)

Hi Jenny, cards are lovely! As for the card recipe, sometimes I like to know what the brand of something is but I can go find it myself just by googling it so no need to spend time putting links in for me. Save yourself some time, then you can do more crafting!!!

Super cute cards, and I'm glad to hear you're dusting things off (not that they'd get dusty in your super clean crafty space). I think card recipes are great, but I think if you want to be more general that's fine. If someone has a question they can always post a comment or email you. Do what you do best, make cool cards.

Same problem here--a ton of my stamps haven't touched ink! Sometimes I think I get swept up in owning and acquiring a stamp than using it!

great cards Jenny. I love the flowers - so colourful. I'm a bit like you too... I have two new sets of stamps sitting on my desk not even inked up yet... got them 2 weeks ago. Saw, liked but now not sure how to use!!!!

I LOVE the first one (beautiful colors!), and the second one is so pretty and whimsical!
I definitely think you should place the card recipe is, because sometimes people use really cool stamp/embellies that I want to try, and yet I don't know what they are. I don't bother putting links up though - if someone is interested in something, it's so easy for them to just google it, without me having to go to a bunch of trouble linking it.

Love this, as usual! As for the recipe - I usually don't read them on blogs and if it is something I need to know I usually ask in my comment.

I LOVE that first card! It is really awesome!

I love having the card recipe. I have even clicked on a few of the links to see which sets the stamps came from, etc. BUT, it would be fine if you put the manufacturer and name of the set or something and I could google it myself.

I just went to a scrapbook store in Berkeley over the weekend and got to see all the Hero Arts™ stamps side by side next to other stamp sets.... I am in love with Hero Arts™! ... and so is my husband! haha. Okay, long enough post - have a beautiful day!

I love that second card--the colors are amazing! And yes, I do like seeing recipes in case I want to buy something you've used. I always do recipes on my blog, too.

Gorgeous cards! I had a friend tell me she missed my 'recipe' under the cards and just started doing it again myself. So, I can see the big help it is, especially for stamps and paper. :)

Love your cards Jenny! I like the fact that you give the name\brand of stamps in your recipe. But I don't think there's a need to link them as once we know what they are we can check them ourselves. More stamping time for you then too!

Beautiful cards. I love knowing the brand name of a product so I do look at card recipes a lot. Just a short recipe is great for products that you really love to use. Will have to check out Hero Arts.

I ask myself that same question all the time about the recipe. It takes so much time! Now if I'm in a rush i just put the unusual things and figure if someone REALLY has a question, they'll email me! LOVE both of these cards and I feel the same way about collecting stamps and not using them. BTW your blog and cards are FAB! Glad I found you!
