I have a bit of an announcement to make. Laurel Beard will be joining our team. I have known Laurel for awhile now and she is a sweetie, very talented and always has been one of the huge supporters of this blog. She just seemed like the right fit for our team and it was true.


So please help me in welcoming her!!

Hi everyone! My name is Laurel and I live in sunny Florida, where I have lived my entire life! I am married to a Navy Pilot and have a gorgeous 5 year old son..... I was introduced to stamping a little under two years ago when I wanted to make a teacher's gift for my son's teachers. I created the most horrific altered clipboard on the face of the planet. I like to think my talent has grown since then. I really had no where to go but up from that, ha!  I would define myself as a very clean and simple card designer, rarely using a lot of embellishments on one card. My favorite techniques are heat embossing and incorporating distress ink techniques into my projects. I also love building patterns out of stamps.

So glad to have you Laurel! Welcome to the Team!

And on that note, we say goodbye to Jinny Newlin. Thank you Jinny for all your inspiration you have shared with us over the past few months we wish you all the best!
