E.A.D. Designs goodies, giveaway and your help is needed!

Second post... see other below too.

Happy Sunday!! Just a quick update to let you all know that I appreciate all the cards, emails, and everything you have done during this difficult time. You all are a blessing and im lucky to call you my friends. Things haven't been looking up around here, more things keep happening but im trying to hold my head up. I appreciate your support. You all ROCK!!

Now I would love to share with you a card I made using some new Stickerz from E.A.D., aren't they too cute? Want to win either one of these Stickerz sets of your choice? Leave a comment and also tell me what you love about these stickerz and EAD, check them out HERE, and I will close the comments tomorrow at 11:59pm PST and draw a winner for the Stickerz set of your choice from the sets below... This giveaway is from me. :)

Stickerz: EAD Fly Away with Me
Paper: PTI Kraft and white, Bo Bunny Dots

Stickerz: EAD Woodland Friends
Paper: PTI hawaiian shores, white, bitty dot basics
Other: PTI cloud die

And also check out this weeks Weekly Steal HERE, aren't these birdies too cute? You can get the birds in a large variety of colors to match your room!! :)

And heres a little card I did as more inspiration for my challenge. I used my new sewing machine. I like it but  I cant figure out why the stitching looks right on the down (back) side but on the front side im getting the stitching that should be on the front side. Its reversed. I would have to sew the card on its backside to get the right stitching to show. Its hard to work on kinks on a new sewing machine. LOL!

Stamps: Hero Arts Cuckoo, Just a Note, Say Hello, Unity Stamp Co. Notes
Paper: PTI Kraft, White
Ink: Memento, Copics

And I need YOUR HELP PLEASE for those of you that use a Digital SLR for your photos. If you use a photo tent too, even better. What settings do you use to take your pictures? If you use the auto, mine doesnt show up unless I use flash. But im trying to keep from using the flash and I cant get my manual settings right. I cant wait to get this ironed out! :D Im so excited to have a photo tent now but frustrated that I cant get my settings the way they should be. And I took a photography class you think I would remember but I dont LOL.  Thanks for the help if you can help me!! Email me if its easier, weememories@aol.com

Thanks for stopping by... hope your having a wonderful Sunday!! :) :) :) :)

I love the birthday sentiment stickers...always good to have lots of birthday sentiments!

For the camera...I normally take pictures in manual - ISO low: 200; aperture: 2.8 - and the trick I have with the white balance is that for the photo tent I have to change it to the flourescent lighting setting. Hope this helps.

Love the cards, stickers sound like fun, I hardly use them on my cards. I need a photo tent too- I only take photos during daylight hours and those are shrinking down here in winter-land. I will usually set my on the close up feature and then lighten them on the computer afterwards.

I like the Fly Away With Me set as it makes me sing Sinatra every time I see it used or on the website. :)

I do have an SLR, but I am still working on the settings myself. I take pictures during the day so that I don't have to use the flash.

I have a home made photo "tent" and I have to use my external flash to take the pictures and I bounce it off the ceiling which usually works but sometimes the white balance is off which you woul just have to adjust :) Hope this helps girl, I know you said you have a flash system so why not use it :) P.S. The EAD stickerz are super cute, I havent seen them yet!

Oh wow, I absolutely LOVE these!! The hot air balloons - I need those!!! I use my camera on manual setting all the time. It all depends on the time of day and the light that's coming into my room but when I photograph my work I usually set it at 200 ISO (100 is better but if not enough light, I need to put the ISO up). Then I put the aperture on the smallest number to get the most light, around 3.5/4 usually. I hope that I'm making sense! It's all good when I'm doing it, but a bit hard to explain it to someone else!! xx
