Wee Memories Challenge #5



Hope you week was great and your weekend is off to a great start. Another great week of entries for the last challenge. Challenge #5 - is sponsored by MelJen's Designs - Digital Stamps by Mellisa Jenkins!! I love her digital stamps ... so so cute!!!



This weeks challenge theme is - Stitching. Most all of us love stitching on our cards, either by sewing machine, gel pen, stamp, etc. I know I love it.



Your challenge:
 To make a card, scrapbook layout or altered item using the theme - Stitching! Incorporate any kind of stitching into your project.

How to play: Just link your project below or to the SCS gallery with the keyword WMC5 ... that simple! :)

THE PRIZE:
 Four stamps of your choice from MelJen's Designs online shop.

 Please only submit creations that were made after the time this challenge was posted, links posted from old blog or gallery posts will not be counted. Also please provide a link to this challenge with your entry on your blog or with the keyword WMC5 in your gallery - Thanks!

Deadline:
 The deadline for this challenge is next Friday, May 14th at 11:59 PST so make sure your entries are in before then. The winner will be announced on Saturday, May 15th (possibly the 16th, we have girl scouts swim competition on the 15th)

To give you a little more inspiration here is a project I did from MelJen's digital stamp - Pansies. I love this stamp, its so cute. Still learning my stitching with my new sewing machine but ill get it straight someday LOL... thanks to my super sweet friend Kim im getting the hang of it ;) thanks girl!

Card Recipe
Paper: Sassafras, PTI white
Stamps: MelJen's Digital Stamps, Hero Arts (sentiment)
Ink: Copic Markers, Memento
Accessories: Pearls, Rhinestones, MS border punch

Alright! I've never done stitching on my cards, but we'll give it a try. I think I will have to use a gel pen because here in San Francisco, our houses aren't large enough to hold a sewing machine! haha. Now I just have to go buy a gel pen! :) You'll see mine later and congrats to the winner of last week! I love the black and white flavor to the card splashed with some red!

Love your card! I love the effect of machine stitching on layouts. I used it on my current layout of my mom and her two brothers.
