Challenge Winner and New Challenge!



EDIT: Please do not submit work that was done before I posted the challenge. Its ok to make items for this challenge that you made for other challenges but if your work was done before I even posted the challenge thats not fair to other who worked hard to make something for this challenge and have posted their blog entry or SCS including a link to this challenge. The challenge: To make a card, scrapbook layout or altered item using the theme - Vintage & Ribbons. Please incorporate ribbon in to your project. Your welcome to use any colours for this challenge. Who loves them some vintage? ME! How about you? Those of you who's style isn't really vintage, you may submit projects using Ribbon! The more ribbon the better! :) Heres a card by Jennifer McGuire for inspiration on what you can do with ribbon, Love this card... SEE HERE.



How to play: Just link your project below or to the SCS gallery with the keyword WMC2 ... that simple! :)

THE PRIZE: This bundle of ribbon (pictured below)!! Lots and lots of beautiful ribbon in a variety of colours. Lots of ribbon here to make some beautiful projects with!! I will be throwing a little surprise in with these when I send it off to our winner.



Deadline: The deadline for this challenge is next Friday, April 23 at 11:59 PST so make sure your entries are in before then. The winner will be announced on Saturday, April 24.

To give you a little more inspiration here is my project, I incorporated May Arts beautiful ribbon in lots of was on my LO here... I used green dot ribbon for leaves and for a top border and I also used some ric rac ribbon on the dress stand. I also handmade all the flowers on this LO, that was a fun project. The picture I used here is my cutie pie on her first ride around the carousel at Griffith Park in Los Angeles. If you havent been to Griffith Park before, you have seen it in LOTS of movies like 'Rebel Without A Cause', and more recent times - Back To The Future, Transformers, Jurassic Park, The Terminator, Yes Man, and many others.

Its been a beautiful weekend here, in the 70's and working in our flower and vegetable garden. My flowers are in full bloom, it smells so good. I also went to Michael's today... apparently they are clearancing out allot of stuff, I got lots of the Cuttlebug folders they had for $2.50 and a bunch of other goodies. Worth checking out at your local store.

Oh and I also have an announcement that I just have to share, some of my work will be published in an upcoming Scrap Street.com magazine... visit scrapstreet.com. :)

Oh my. That is the most beautiful LO I've ever seen. I'm in awe...
and I too love all things vintage, but only in my home lol! I don't know if I could create a project in that style...although those photos are making me feel inspired.
